About This RUFFLY Journey Together

It began for us when we adopted Moxie. Our family became a pack, and the joy and responsibility we felt was enormous. We also discovered what it means to ‘live extraordinary together’ before we had the words for it.

They give everything of themselves and hold nothing back. It’s as if they’re born knowing how fast it all passes. I needed some way to hold that in the window of my heart. Like how some people wear a cross or a star or tattoos or a ring on their finger.

So we started with a single collar and it grew from there. Craftsman built in a saddlery workshop where they make things with real meaning and purpose. So that every time I look at Moxie, it reminds me of what she knows in her bones: Give everything right now while we’re here together!

We lived her whole lifetime in those few years and then she passed away. Slowly, time, tears, and beautiful memories mended our hearts.

Then our life began with Whimsy. She wears the collar that reminds me of what she and Moxie and all of them know instinctively. So I do everything I can to live extraordinary together.
