Cockpit BoosterSeat creates a perfect Cockpit fit by occupying the excess space around your copilot with additional protective padding.
Just think how a delicate vase shifts and jostles in a big box when you whip through turns, evade potholes, accelerate when the light turns green, and brake hard before a speed bump.
Cockpit BoosterSeat occupies that excess space so that your precious copilot always has the safest possible ride when theyโre a little small for their Cockpit.
But, unlike a sumo suit or bubble wrap, BoosterSeat doesnโt cause overheating.
Window-like cutouts in the panels allow cooling airflow and heat ventilation for a safer, more comfortable ride in hot weather.
Components
BoosterSeat consists of four padded inserts:
- Two sidewalls
- Rear panel
- Bottom cushion
Use all, some, or only one of the 1in | 2.5cm padded inserts as needed to create the perfect โcomfortably snugโ fit.
Two velcro bands are included to reinforce the upper structure.
The unpadded band reinforces without occupying additional space while the padded band shifts the inserts 1in | 2.5cm closer in on each side.
The BoosterSeat height is also adjusted by removing the padding inside the bottom cushion.
Assembly
To install your Cockpit BoosterSeat, first determine if all or only some of the components are necessary for your dog.
Then follow these steps:
- Place the bottom cushion over the original cushion inside your Cockpit.
- Place the rear panel back against the rear upper roll bar so that it accommodates the Cockpitโs natural half-moon curve
- Secure the hard velcro along the bottom of the panel to the soft velcro on the bottom cushion.
- Insert the sidewalls in the same manner.
- Adjust the placement as needed, then wrap the padded or unpadded reinforcement strap around the inserts
- Wrap the straps around the upper roll bars, secure the buckles, and tighten the straps.
