Cockpit SunShield protects your copilot from the harsh sun without catching wind, trapping heat, or restricting cooling ventilation.
The SunShield spreads across the top of the Cockpit to deflect sunlight but does not extend down the sides to allow normal ventilation even when riding at slow speeds.
The shell is composed of ultra-lightweight nylon and is contoured to the Cockpitโs shape so no excess material will capture heat or create excessive wind buffeting.
A large vent extends across the full width to increase wind passthrough, which further improves ventilation and reduces buffeting.
Nylon webbing creates a durable perimeter around the shell. This reinforces the structure against strong winds and maintains the shape and integrity over long hard high speed miles.
Curved side-release buckles secure the SunShield to the Cockpitโs upper roll bars.
Adjust the straps as needed to achieve a firm fit that does not depress the roll bar padding. Once the desired strap length is achieved, knot the loose ends against the buckles to prevent loosing over time.

How does the SunShield attach to my Cockpit?
The SunShield attaches to your Cockpit roll bars with adjustable plastic side-release buckles. Once you adjust the straps to the appropriate length, tie the loose ends into stopper knots against the buckles. This will prevent loosening over long hard use.
How fast can I ride with the SunShield?
As fast as you want. Just make sure the SunShield attachment straps are tightly secured to avoid excess wind catchment and buffeting.
Wonโt using the SunShield make my dog hot?
No. The SunShield shell is constructed from ultra-lightweight fabric to protect against strong sun without trapping heat. The SunShield does not enclose the open spaces between the upper and lower roll bars to ensure maximum airflow and heat ventilation.
Wonโt the SunShield flap and buffet a lot at high speed?
Some amount of buffeting is unavoidable when riding at high speed. But the SunShield has been road tested for extended periods at top highway and interstate speeds. Additionally, the riderโs body deflects a substantial amount of wind, which limits what reaches the Cockpit and SunShield.
