The K9 Moto Cockpit Build Guide provides 35 pages of materials, measurements, diagrams, photos, and descriptions to build your own motorcycle dog carrier.

The K9 Moto Cockpit is the motorcycle dog crate for riding safely with your medium or large dog.

The Cockpit design keeps your dog’s weight low, secure, and connected to the motorcycle.

The unique design of this motorcycle dog crate avoids strain on the chassis and reduces the effect on your ride performance.

The Build Guide is not an assembly kit and the user should possess the necessary tools, skills, and materials.

As an alternative to building your own, check out the custom K9 Moto Cockpit where we build it for you, with your choice of upholstery, to mount to your specific motorcycle. Also, don’t forget to pick up a K9 Moto Harness for securing your dog in their Cockpit.

We want to help dog-loving motorcyclists to ride safely with their large or medium dog in a way that looks great and enhances the thrill of the ride.

We created the K9 Moto Cockpit Build Guide for informational purposes so that individuals with the skills, time, and resources can create their own Cockpit for riding with their dog.

The Build Guide is not part of an assembly kit and does not include the tools or materials to create a Cockpit. The user is responsible to purchase or obtain the various materials described in the Build Guide and use them appropriate to create the Cockpit.

We produced this Build Guide in order to provide as much information and support as possible to those interested in bringing their pup on motorcycle rides or travels.

If you do not have the time or wherewithal to build your own Cockpit, we will custom build your K9 Moto Cockpit for your dog and to mount to your specific motorcycle, trike, or e-bike.

While we provide this Build Guide strictly for informational purposes only, by using this document to produce a replica of the original K9 Moto Cockpit, or a modified version to suit your motorcycle and dog, you agree to adhere to the following requirements:

1. You will not share this Build Guide with anyone without express written permission from RUFFLY.
2. You will not produce a K9 Moto Cockpit or Cockpit-inspired motorcycle dog carrier for commercial purposes.
3. You will acknowledge RUFFLY and the K9 Moto Cockpit as the model for the Cockpit-inspired carrier that you ultimately produce.

You will share your progress, challenges, and solutions to those challenges with RUFFLY.

The user expressly agrees to hold RUFFLY, including but not limited to its owners, officers, designers, and agents, harmless from any and all damages and/or losses incurred by the user and/or others including any and all harm to the user’s pet from the use of the Cockpit.

No claims, representations or warranties, whether expressed or implied, are made by RUFFLY as to the safety, reliability, durability and performance of any of its products, including but not limited to the Cockpit. Furthermore, RUFFLY accepts no liability whatsoever for the safety, reliability, durability and performance of any of said products.

RUFFLY further makes no representations, expressed or implied, and provides no warranties of any kind with regard to construction and/or use of the Cockpit, including but not limited to whether the Cockpit complies with any federal, state or local statutes, laws, rules or regulations pertaining to such construction or use.

The user assumes all responsibility for the user’s and the product’s compliance with all statutes, laws, rules and/or regulations, nationally and internationally, as they may apply to this product and/or its assembly and its application to the user’s vehicle.

RUFFLY reminds users that motorcycling is a dangerous activity and any changes to the original setup or configuration of the motorcycle will change the vehicle’s performance and might void the manufacturer’s warrantee.
