Moxie Thumper’s Race Against Time and Distance

As a first-time motorcycle rider, Greg’s dad rents a three-wheeled motorcycle called a Can-Am Spyder, which doesn’t require a motorcycle license in California.

They ride to the Kern River and then put on cold weather motorcycle gear for going up the mountain roads to Ponderosa where Jess’s motorcycle, Moxie Thumper, suffers another breakdown.
